To gain this certification you must pass the test through computer base program. This certification is developed and sponsored by the (CompTIA) Computing Technology Industry Association. This requires you that you must have a basic knowledge on hardwares networking and network operating systems. Also they recommend a 9 months hands-on experience and one of the popular certification comptia A+, but these are not required to take the test anyway.

VALIDITY OF THE CERTIFICATE

After you passed the exams your certificate will be lifetime valid, there is no expiration, and they don't require you retake the test.

How Much Does the Test Costs?

These depends wether your employer's company is CompTIA member in order for you to save and avail discount by buying voulcher from them or from other companies with CompTIA membership, and you can also have them by purchasing voulchers online on retail or wholesale basis like what I did and finally simply use these voulchers to pay your exam fees upon registering your exam on any testing centers. Otherwise, for non members, normally you pay the full amount up to 225$ fee, while there are chances that you can avail online with discount rate. These questions come in multiple choices, situational, identification, and Conventional. Means basically, they are most on practical type.

What Are the exams look Like?  

The upgraded Network+ exam is consist of 85 questions and it used to be 72, the exam is graded on the scale of 100–900 which you have 90 minutes to complete. To pass, you must score at least 554 the minimum.

Exams are available on English, Japanese, German, and Korean

How do I take the tests?  

To take the exam, you must go to an authorized testing center. Prometric/Thomson and Pearson VUE administer the actual Network+ tests. You’ll find testing centers around and across the United States, Canada, and wherever you are located. In USA and Canada , you can call Prometric at 1-888-895-6116 or Pearson VUE at 877-551-7587 to register and have your test scheduled or visit them online for easy registration.
