A+ Certification Introduction And Guide

This exam has been facilitated by the CompTIA Company, to pass the Exam you must be at least experienced as a computer technician or equivalent, also basic troubleshooting O/S softwares and hardwares , and basic or advance repair knowledge. To be certified, you must pass two seperate exams:

• A+ Core hardware
• A+ operating system

Well, that was the late, old, and retired 2003 exam objectives and now we have the recently updated and redesigned exam since 2006. The current certification require individuals to overcome and pass A+ Essentials (220-601) first and proceed by choosing one on any elective which is 220-602 (IT Technician), 220-603 (Remote Support Technician), or the 220-604 (Depot Technician) In order to gain a full pledge A+ technician certification.

The exam is computer based program, to take the exam you must register online either at Pearson Vue testing service center (www.vue.com/comptia) or at Thomson Prometric (www.2test.com)or visit them personally.
